How do I navigate the video presentation player?

The video presentation player is specifically designed to ensure an excellent playback experience. Refer to the table provided below to view a comprehensive list of available controls along with concise descriptions of their respective functions.

play buttonPlay or pause the video.
timeline scrubberScrub the video timeline. May be restricted on certain videos.
jump back buttonSkip back 10 seconds. Availability subject to content and site settings.
jump ahead buttonSkip ahead 10 seconds. Availability subject to content and site settings.
gear, settings iconSelect playback quality or speed. Quality setting automatically defaults to the best available for the media. Availability subject to content and site settings.
volume buttonAdjusts the volume of the presentation audio. Clicking the button will mute or unmute the audio.

notes button
Toggles the notes panel to the right of the player area. Within this panel, users have the ability to create bookmarks accompanied by notes that are linked to specific points in the video timeline. These notes are exclusively visible to you and are saved for future reference, allowing you to refer back to the notes whenever you revisit the video. 
cc, closed captions button
Opens captions menu where you can: select a different language or search the video transcript. Availability subject to content and site settings.
search video menu itemOpens interactive transcript view. Enter a term or phrase into the search field to identify the spot in the timeline where it was mentioned. Click the caption text highlighted below to resume playback at that specific moment in the timeline. Availability subject to content and site settings.
